A Mysterious Camera

Some time ago, there lived a girl named Beatrice Hawthorne. She lived in the forest with her beloved mom. At the time Beatrice celebrated her 15^th birthday, her mother gave her a present. It was a pretty blue film camera.

Beatrice was very happy to get the new camera. She spontaneously captured her mother picture from the camera. She shot everything she saw; like a bottle of plum jam or a cat licking the water near the river. But she was too careless. She didn’t realize there was someone watching her while she took a picture near the river.

There was a boy secretly standing at the oak tree, a boy with melancholy face. He suddenly walked toward Beatrice and caught her hand. Beatrice was surprised. The boy covered Beatrice’s mouth, therefore none would hear her voice.

Beatrice gazed at the boy’s eyes. There was a scar near his left eye. The scar figure was looked like a dragon. His name is Matthew Jovovich, also known as the child of the famous Rock-‘n-Rolla Bank’s founder. He told Beatrice that he should bring her to the fountain and took his picture.

Obediently, she followed Matt’s order, then they silently walking through the forest. After arriving at the fountain, Beatrice took a picture of Matt. And then, when she had finished, she noticed there was nobody with her.

She hurriedly ran, came back home, and insensibly dropped her camera. She didn’t think about anything but the boy. How did he disappear? She couldn’t forget the boy’s face. It looked so pale and skinny. He got a pair of blue eyes, the same color as her camera.

As Beatrice reached her house, she found her mother was talking with the lady in a velvet gown. The woman told Beatrice’s mother about her son. He was possessed by the spirit of a wild wolf. He peculiarly got a dragon mark near his left eyes.

Beatrice was so shocked. Knowing it was the same person she met earlier. Immediately, she remembered that her camera was dropped in the forest. So she told her mom that she wanted to search that blue cubical stuff. But it was too late and the sky’s getting darkened. Her mom was afraid if Beatrice would be kidnapped by a stranger. Because of her curiosity, she ignored her mother’s advice.

She brought a flashlight to brighten the way. Finally she found her blue camera along the way to the fountain. But it covered by a huge shadow–like a wolf. She saw a big white wolf right in front of her; the wolf had blue eyes and a dragon mark just like Matthew. It was a spirit that took Matt’s soul.

The strange wolf stood up and asked Beatrice if she mind to exchange her camera with Matt’s soul. She was wondered, why the wolf wanted her camera.

Beatrice knew that she should save Matthew from the spirit. She gave away her birthday present to the wolf. Then the wolf disappeared. Not too far from where she stood, she saw a body laid beside an oak tree. It was Matt. He woke up and saw Beatrice, and told her that he had seen her face before in his dream. Beatrice smiled solemnly, realized that dragon mark had left, and offered her hand to Matthew. She walked him to his house.

Matt’s mother was very thankful to Beatrice for saving her son. As thanks she gave Beatrice a red film camera with a dragon sticker on it. The sticker symbolized the Rock-‘n-Rolla family’s strength. Later, Beatrice found out that the blue camera was a wolf’s memorable thing with its owner. The owner nevertheless was Matthew’s grandfather. Beatrice’s mother bought it at the antique store, in the town hall.

Beatrice didn’t care whether it’s blue or red as long as she could still enjoyed taking pictures from film camera. After that accident, Beatrice and Matt became best friend.
